HANDS OF HOPE

Enabling people and communities to lead healthier and happier lives by connecting them to nature and each other

Hands of Hope

Supporting communities throughout Rother, Hastings and West Kent, we are restoring & developing a neglected Edwardian Walled Kitchen Garden & 22 acres of AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) land in Hawkhurst on the Kent and East Sussex border “Hope Farm Community Garden”, whilst conserving the site’s natural, community and environmental heritage.

Using Growing, Cooking and Nature-based activities, our mission is “Enabling people and communities to lead healthier and happier lives by connecting them to nature and each other”.

WHAT WE DO

GROWING & GARDENING

We live in communities that are often disconnected. Green spaces offer communities an opportunity to create connections through food – growing, harvesting, discussing, eating, & sharing.

COMMUNITY & SOCIAL

Delivering projects that connect people to nature and each other.

LIVING HISTORY

Community beekeeping, traditional hedgelaying, green woodworking and outdoor nature-based activities.
